Welcome to the Harlem Valley in beautiful eastern Dutchess County, and the towns of Amenia, Dover Plains, Millbrook, Millerton, Pine Plains & Stanfordville. Tucked away at the foothills of the Berkshire and Taconic Mountains, and nestled in between the Taconic State Parkway and the Route 22 corridor, the towns of the Harlem Valley are steeped with tradition, business, grand shopping, delicious dining, fine arts, and much more. An easy commute from New York City by car or train — we invite you to come visit us. We’re sure once you do, you’ll want to come back again and again.
July Focus: Rudd Pond State Park, Millerton, NY -- Looking for a great summer getaway? Rudd Pond State Park is open for the summer. Taconic State Park is located along 16 miles of the Taconic Mountain Range, sharing a border with Massachusetts and Connecticut. Two developed areas, Copake Falls and Rudd Pond, offer an extensive trail system with terrain that varies from easy to challenging, offering spectacular views.
